Here's a sweet wedding story for your Friday! Our next WiO Bride, Lindsay and hubby, Jeremy were married this past summer on August, 31, 2014. Lindsay's dedication to her classes at WiO leading up to the wedding day really paid off -- and we couldn't be prouder! Keep reading for more of their adorable love story. How did you meet your husband and how did you know he was the one? The short story, Jeremy and I met through friends in February 2011 -- We both went away for a ski weekend (I don't ski!) and ended up staying at the same house. He tried to impress me by skiing down a black diamond; I was hanging at the bunny slope. We spent some time together that weekend, had our official first date the following week and the rest was history! I knew Jeremy was the one pretty quickly. He made me his priority since the moment we met which happened to include getting matzo ball soup delivered to my apartment in Manhattan when I was sick one night.

Tell us about your wedding. Jeremy and I got married on August 31, 2014 at The Village Club at Lake Success on Long Island. I had been there for Mother's Day brunch (before we were engaged) and my grandmother asked the manager if they do weddings!! I was a bit embarrassed but it all worked out! It was a beautiful space and had everything I was looking for. We had a rainy, hot, humid day (they say it's good luck, right??) but I seemed to forget about it as soon as it was time to walk down the aisle. Everything was beautiful and the night went way too quickly!

Where did you go dress shopping? What made you say yes to the dress? I tend to be very indecisive and dress shopping was no exception initially. I had no idea what I wanted at first but I found myself drawn to the same style of dresses over and over. I ended up going with a Matthew Christopher design with a very classic and elegant look. I added a belt after the ceremony for just a little bling :)

How did you get yourself ready for your big day? Work it Out! The moment that Monica found out I was engaged was it for me. I was that much more motivated when she pushed me just a little bit harder than everyone else in the class by handing me the heavier (12lb to be exact) medicine ball or giving me that look to pedal a little faster.  The variety of classes at WiO made working out fun. I will never forget my first class. It was the evening before Thanksgiving of 2013 and it was only me and two other very experienced WiO'ers. I was ready to walk out, but instead I stuck with it and stayed motivated to get in the best shape for my wedding day! I ended up losing almost 20 pounds and felt fantastic!

How is married life now and what advice do you have for other soon to be WiO Brides? Married life is great -- We recently returned from our honeymoon in Spain and Paris and can't stop looking at photos from our trip and from our wedding trying to relive so many special moments. My only advice would be to try (really, really hard) to just enjoy your wedding day and take it all in. It's very overwhelming! Just remember that all of the people at your wedding are there to celebrate with you, so have fun and take a second to sit back and take it all in.

Congrats Lindsay & Jeremy! You look beautiful!
